The Chilli Oil recipe that started it all

Ivy's Original Chilli Garlic Oil, our very first jar and the recipe that started it all. Originally created for my own personal cooking, it was a recipe I used regularly for scrambled eggs, pasta, and many of the dishes I prepared while working as a Head Chef. It was never intended to be sold it was simply the chilli garlic oil I loved cooking with every day.

The response was overwhelming

By Christmas 2020, I began giving jars to family and friends. The response was overwhelming. Everyone loved the appetising taste, the perfect balance of flavour and heat, and soon the questions started coming in: "Where can we buy this?" That was when I decided to make my chilli garlic oil commercially available, and the rest is history.

Today, Ivy's Homemade Chilli Garlic Oil is a fully licensed home-based business, proudly stocked by more than 30 retailers across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Although the business has grown, quality remains our top priority. Our multi-award-winning chilli garlic oil is still made, bottled, and sealed in our own home kitchen. Every jar is made with passion in small batches to ensure it tastes just as good as the very first jar I ever made.
